Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant
Salary £30k - £40k DOE
Location: East London - Hybrid Options

Summary

We are representing an exciting Build to Rent (BTR) developer with developments in London and the Home Counties who are looking to upskill and develop their AP team. They are looking to bring in an experienced AP Assistant, ideally with Yardi systems experience but that isn't a dealbreaker.

The role will be based in their office in East London, initially 5 days a week but there will be the opportunity to move to a hybrid model (2 days from home) post probation, to be agreed with the manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify and process vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports.
  • Enter invoices into the accounting system.
  • Prepare and process weekly and monthly check runs.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and payment history.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts monthly.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
  • Assist with other accounting tasks as needed.
