The Role:

As a Property Acquisition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and securing prime property opportunities for development, ensuring a steady pipeline of projects to meet our ambitious expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential property acquisitions that align with our development strategies and objectives.

  2. Site Identification: Source and assess residential and commercial properties with development potential, considering factors such as location, zoning, planning permissions, and market demand.

  3. Financial Evaluation: Analyse the financial viability of each acquisition opportunity, including cost projections, potential returns, and investment risks.

  4. Negotiations: Lead negotiations with property owners, agents, and stakeholders to secure favourable terms and conditions for the company.

  5. Due Diligence: Oversee the due diligence process, coordinating with legal and technical teams to assess property suitability and mitigate potential risks.

  6. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with property owners, local authorities, and other key stakeholders to facilitate successful deals.

  7. Project Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure a seamless transition from acquisition to project execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Property Acquisition Manager or a similar role within the real estate or property development sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK property market, planning regulations, and property acquisition processes.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to conduct thorough financial analysis.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and a track record of successful deal closures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Finance, or a related field.
