UP TO £40,000 + PACKAGE (inc. dedicated APC counsellor, bi-annual pay reviews)

I'm pleased to be working to support the growth of a multidisciplinary construction consultancy, who seek the addition of an 'intermediate' level Building Surveyor, to bolster their London office. The team currently consists of 25 professionals, all of whom enjoy a broad mixture of work. There is no pigeonholing whatsoever in terms of service-line provision, and they look after a broad range of assets (commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and leisure).

THE ROLE:

• Assist with the undertaking of building surveys, taking particulars on site, attending meetings, writing up specifications, obtaining estimates.
• Planning maintenance programmes and administering contracts for maintenance work.
• Support the Building Surveying team on complex multi-disciplinary schemes.
• Help with analysing and reporting on building defects.
• Support the Building Surveyors with preparing schedules of dilapidations and negotiating settlements.
• Assist with the supervision of building work on site.
• Assisting the Building Surveyors with providing advice on design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment works.

ABOUT YOU:

• The ideal candidate will have 12 months' minimum experience working in a traditional consultancy environment and will have an appropriate RICS accredited degree (Building Surveying pathway).
• You should be client-facing, ambitious and driven to achieve your MRICS status, working in a collaborative, sociable environment.
