Job Title: Architectural Technologist (Revit)
About Us:
Our client, a development company with an in-house construction team. We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team in our London office to contribute to an exciting high-rise mixed-use development project.
Role Overview:
As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with our design team to deliver comprehensive construction documents for a large-scale, mixed-use development across two adjacent sites. This position demands a deep proficiency in Revit and significant experience in managing complex residential and commercial schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to prepare detailed scale drawings and specifications for regulatory approvals.
- Develop drawings for tender and construction phases.
- Create and manage detailed schedules of materials and finishes.
- Utilise advanced Revit skills to create base models, as well as manage and develop families.
- Coordinate effectively with primary MEP and structural engineers.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Revit on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial projects.
- Strong expertise in preparing detailed drawings and specifications.
- Advanced knowledge of Revit, including model creation and family management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and information.
- Exceptional accuracy in design and technical execution.
- Solid understanding of building regulations and industry standards.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Experience in communicating and dealing with contractors.
