Job Title: Building Surveyor
Location: London
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Minimum Experience: 12 months
Our client, a well-established surveying firm in London, is currently seeking a Building Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of surveying services to clients across London and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting building surveys, including defect diagnosis, condition surveys, and dilapidation assessments.
- Preparing schedules of work, specifications, and tender documents.
- Contract administration, including site inspections, progress reporting, and cost control.
- Providing technical advice and guidance to clients and colleagues.
- Undertaking project management duties, including managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Liaising with contractors, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 month's experience in a similar Building Surveyor role.
- MRICS or MCIOB qualified, or working towards qualification.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Experience in project management and contract administration.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
