Are you an accountant in real estate and want to work with one of the world's leading property agents? If you're looking for a new challenge and want to take on more responsibility, our client are growing their Finance and Accounts department and are looking for a Client Accountant to join their team!

Who you'll be working for:

What you'll be doing:
As a Client Accountant, your primary role is to control all finances and client monies held on a large retail portfolio across the UK. You will work with the key account managers both in hose and client side.

Your responsibilities will encompass the following:

  • Responsibility for rent accounting

  • Timely and accurate rent transfers

  • Management of service charge

  • Working with external auditors regarding any transactions in and/or out to other agents

  • Annual sign off of balance sheets

  • Manage insurance, turnover rents, rent repayment plans and any direct recharges and recoveries

  • Manage sinking funds and tenant deposits

  • System reports, review of SLA's including areas, bank reconciliation, unallocated amounts and refunds, system issues

  • Producing monthly and quarterly reports, quarterly forecasting and involvement in annual budgeting

  • Accurate updating of tenant records

  • Supporting the Client Accounts Manager and Head of Property Finance UK with any tasks/projects as instructed

What you'll bring:

The right candidate will have at least 3 year's experience in Property Management Accounting with strong financial skills. They will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, be organised and be able to prioritise and plan work effectively.
