Commercial Manager – Mixed-Use Developer
Location: London
Salary offer: £75,000 - £85,000 basic + Bonus + Benefits
deverellsmith have been recently appointed by a fast growing mixed use developer with investor roots in the United States who are contributing to major regeneration schemes across the capital and the UK. With a track record of delivering landmark schemes, my client is growing a team to be involved in the delivery of a multi-phase project and needs a Commercial Manager to support the Commercial Director and play a pivotal role in the development.
You will be reporting directly into the Head of Cost Management, overseeing the main contractor and cost consultant parties, ensuring that they work closely together to deliver this iconic project on time and within budget. The role will encompass a range of cost management processes as part of the procurement team, which includes the monitoring of all financial models from forecasting to variations in cost. You will collaborate with external insurance adviser and assist in identifying and recommending appropriate strategies.
About You:
The successful candidate must have a relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, having worked previously at a construction consultancy or developer.
You will also have a good knowledge of suppliers within the residential market and have a desire to work in an innovative and forward thinking company.
