An award-winning mixed-use property developer in the UK is looking for a Defects Resolutions Manager to join the team and work in accordance to their core company values: Creative, People-First, Pioneering, Sustainable and Proud.

Playing a poviotal role in the Aftercare process, the Defects Resolution Manager will be required to place particular focus on proactively managing the resolution of snagging and repair issues of new homes, as well as being comfortable with face to face and virtual interaction with all contractors, stakeholders and customers as an on-site presence. 

A great fit if you consider yourself customer service minded and are comfortable proactively delegating roles to the relevant contractors to faciliate a smooth customer journey. 

What would I be doing?

  • Provide direct and prompt communication with residents, contractors, & in house team with regards to the remedy and repair of defects.
  • Work closely with 3rd party suppliers and in-house departments to ensure residents' needs are met at all times.
  • Produce accurate reports to timeframe and keeping track of if/when repairs are in the process.
  • Proactively carry out any quality checks on completed defects
  • Build aa reliable knowledge of the individual building and communal systems and you operate on.

What do I need?

  • Previous experience within a similar position; property managemenrt or knowledge of the New Homes sector ideal! 
  • To be IT literate with CRM software and skills in all MS packages.
  • Impeccable written and spoken English, excellent organisation skills and concise, meticulous record keeping and time/ priority management.
  • A proactive attitude, happy liaising with customers, contractors, and stakeholders via multiple channels.
