A leading private property developer are looking for an experience Development Manager

deverellsmith have partnered with a forward thinking, progressive company who have built a good word of mouth name for themselves in the past 5 years, and 90% of their business is referrals in and around central London from previous clients.

The Development Manager will be focusing on schemes in both the Residential and Hotel sectors from inception to completion.   

Experience:

  • Development Appraisals
  • Land buying and site acquisitions
  • Design Development
  • Property sales & marketing
  • Handling all utilities connections for new projects
  • Managing building regulations, CDM and planning applications
  • Help oversee development budgets and development cashflow forecasting
  • Assess performance of current portfolios to ensure profitability and value
  • Monitor and ensure all compliance, safety and risk management standards are met.
  • Monthly Site visits- monitoring progress from conception to completion
  • Working closely with the entire development team- architects, consultants, general managers, and construction team.
  • Reinforce delivery of brand standards, including FFE and compliance
  • Supervising and liaising with out external planning consultant on all the submission of every projects and discharge of conditions section 106, and appeals if needed.

  • A clear verbal communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • High standard of written communication
  • Good at developing relationships
  • Able to work using own initiative.
  • Ability to travel to the various project sites.
