Job Title: Facilities Manager - BTR
Location: West London
Working Hours: Monday- Friday 9-6pm
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
I'm working with a top build-to-rent company who are looking for a facilties Manager to join for a brand new site in West London.
Role Purpose
As the Facilities Manager, you will oversee the management of a residential rental development, including communal spaces like co-working lounges, gyms, and gardens. Your focus will be on ensuring building compliance, managing maintenance and security, and handling resident interactions, all while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Fire and Health & Safety regulations.
- Lead defect management with developers for new buildings.
- Oversee property inspections and manage end-of-tenancy processes.
- Implement planned preventative maintenance and manage subcontractors.
- Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support ESG targets and perform annual Risk Assessments.
- Provide out-of-hours support as needed.
- Deliver exceptional service to residents, tenants, and visitors.
- Address resident complaints effectively and ensure quick resolution.
- Promote a positive customer experience and drive favorable reviews.
- Train, mentor, and support new team members.
- Assist in recruitment and manage staff performance.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture.
Qualifications
- Experience in residential property management or a related field.
- Proven compliance and budget management skills.
- Strong customer service and team leadership abilities.
Desirable: Property-related qualifications (NFOPP, RICS, ARLA, IRPM, IOSH, NEBOSH, etc.).
