Job description
Are you looking to join a company which will offer you an opportunity to develop a career rather than just a job? Our client is a leading real estate investor and asset manager based in the heart of London with a reputation of retaining employees long-term, with many of their staff having tenures of over ten years.
They are looking for a Finance Manager to join their accounting function. Working closely with the Financial Controller and CFO, this position will be broad in terms of exposure with a focus on the following duties:

- Business partnering with Asset Management and Development teams to ensure cooperative relationships
- Monitor actual spend vs forecasts for developments in progress, revising budget when necessary
- Create and update new leases with the Asset Management team
- Prepare year-end service charge reconciliations including audit papers for RICS audit
- Ad-hoc monthly accounting duties such as VAT and CIS returns as well as bank reconciliations
This position would be well suited to a qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA) with real estate experience. The other key skills and experience required include:
- Business partnering exposure to non-financial personnel in previous positions
- Proactive attitude with an ability to use initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team ethic, always willing to assist those around you when necessary
- An audit background would be preferential for this role although is not essential
In addition to the competitive base salary and discretionary bonus, our client offers the following additional benefits:
- Flexi-working hours
- Private medical cover
- Nursery benefit scheme
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Much more…
