Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Mayfair
Hours: Full-time: Monday to Friday
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 with discretionary performance linked bonus
We are representing an international real estate asset management and advisory firm with a significant portfolio across the UK, Western Europe, and the USA. The company has a strong history of creating value through strategic property acquisitions, development, and active asset management, managing over a million square feet of commercial property in Central London.
The firm is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join their team and contribute to the continued growth of their portfolio. The Finance Manager will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of financial management and reporting while collaborating with asset management and development teams to support all financial aspects of our UK Real Estate operations.
Key Responsibilities (Not limited to):
- Financial Management and Statutory Reporting: Oversee day-to-day management accounting and reporting. Lead the year-end reporting process, including preparation of audit files, auditor liaison, and finalization of financial statements under FRS 102.
- Tax and Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Prepare quarterly tax provisions and VAT returns.
- Project Development Analysis: Manage development budgets, provide financial forecasts, and ensure accurate cash flow management.
- Cash Flow Management: Assist with monthly cash flow analysis for project development and operations.
- Loan Compliance: Prepare loan compliance statements and ensure adherence to loan covenants.
- Property Service Charge Analysis: Manage the budget review process and prepare quarterly and year-end service charge reconciliations.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience (ACA/ACCA).
- Commercially minded with financial reporting experience, ideally within the property industry.
- Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems - Yardi and Caseware.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
