Finance Manager (Fully Remote)

Are you interested in a role which offers fully remote working? If you are a qualified accountant with UK Real Estate experience looking for a Finance Manager position then this could be the position for you.

We are working on behalf of a developer specialising in the conversion of commercial properties to residential assets. They invest and develop offices in to residential accommodation to support with the lack of affordable housing in the UK market. With future plans to grow their portfolio and re-enter the development area, our client is looking for somebody to lead their small accounting and finance function, supporting the Managing Director with the growth in the business.

In this position you will be involved with the following duties:

• Reporting directly to shareholders and directors of the business.
• Prepare and submit statutory financial accounts, reporting directly to Companies House and HMRC with respect to the company and their SPV's
• Prepare investment reporting and investors statements on a quarterly basis
• Handle and oversee submissions of CIS, PAYE and VAT returns
• Liaising close with key external partners including solicitors, investors and tax adviser
• Oversee accounting function of the investment fund and property development activities

The skills and experience required for this role include:

• You must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) from a practice background with significant post-qualification experience in industry
• UK Real estate experience is essential, ideally within property development or investment
• Exposure to tax affairs in previous roles
• Experience leading audit previously is a prerequisite
• This is a fully remote position so the ability to work independently is critical
