Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to join the team and oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of a volume residential development project in London. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing all aspects of residential construction and development, from initial concept through to project delivery. Ideally working with a residential housing builder.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Site Management: Oversee on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and budgetary standards.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, architects, and clients.

  • Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of construction quality and craftsmanship are maintained throughout the project.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them to keep projects on track.

  • Schedule Management: Manage project timelines, identify delays, and implement strategies to keep projects on schedule.

  • Client Liaison: Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or questions.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.

  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential development, with a track record of successful project completions.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.

  • Proficient in project management software and tools.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
