Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to join the team and oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of a volume residential development project in London. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing all aspects of residential construction and development, from initial concept through to project delivery. Ideally working with a residential housing builder.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Site Management: Oversee on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and budgetary standards.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, architects, and clients.
Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of construction quality and craftsmanship are maintained throughout the project.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them to keep projects on track.
Schedule Management: Manage project timelines, identify delays, and implement strategies to keep projects on schedule.
Client Liaison: Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
Team Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential development, with a track record of successful project completions.
Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
