Job description

deverellsmith have partnered with a leading Later Living provider to find a general manager to run one of their brand new communities in Mill Hill.

The Client:

My client are one of a kind in their space, they are offering an assisted living solution that is more than just an apartment, and is considered a community and a home.

Their ethos is centred entirely around their people, both their residents and their employees come first in everything they do.

They have seen rapid growth and success over the past few years and have lots of exciting new sites in the pipeline. This is a excellent time to consider joining them and be a part of their journey of growth.

The Role:

  • As the General Manager of your community, you will be responsible for everything that happens within your development from managing the sales teams to creating long lasting relationships with the residents.
  • You will be responsible for a team of 14 including the front office concierge team, kitchen team, sales team and managing the external care providers.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of your community and ensuring the building is compliant with all safety regulations.
  • You will be responsible for running the P&L of your development.

About you:

  • You could be coming from a variety of backgrounds including; Care, Hospitality, Build to Rent, Student Accommodation but the key is you have an empathetic nature & patience.
  • You will be diligently organised and able to juggle a few different things at once.
  • You must be a people person and enjoying building relationships as you will be spending a lot of time with the residents and will hopefully become a source of companionship for them.
  • You will be driven to deliver great customer service and have attention to detail to ensure your community is kept a warm and inviting home.
