Job Title: Graduate Accounts Assistant
Salary: £30k + Study Support
Location: Central London - Hybrid Options
Summary
We are proud to be exclusively representing a leading International recruitment brand, with their Head Office based in London. They are looking to bring a graduate level Accounts Assistant on board their growing Finance Team.
With offices in UK, Middle East and the US, they are a growing and leading firm within the sector. This role offers a great opportunity for a graduate looking for their first step due to the wide nature of responsibilities. The role reports directly into the Head of Finance, who started in this position himself.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll preparation, including data entry and verification.
- Accounts Payable: Raise invoices, match invoices to purchase orders, and process payments.
- Accounts Receivable: Prepare and send invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and reconcile accounts.
- Credit Cards & Expenses: Reconcile credit card statements, download expenses from online platforms, and maintain accurate records.
- General Accounting: Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Documentation & Data Management: Maintain and update various documents, including VB (excel) files.
- Inbox Management: Respond to and manage general inquiries and requests.
- Intercompany Charges: Assist with preparing and raising intercompany invoices
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate of Accounting & Finance degree (or other relevant courses)
- Commutable distance to London
- Good computer skills (Excel very important)
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
