Are you an Assistant Site Manager looking to step up into a new role?

Our client are looking for a Junior Site Manager to join their award-winning site team on a long term project in East London. The development is multi-phase and can offer the candidate exposure to all elements of the build cycle as well as joining a team with the proven ability to promote from within up the managerial chain.

As Junior Site Manager you will be a process driven and organised individual who puts Quality and Health and Safety at the forefront of what you do.

Responsibilities;

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction site, including personnel, subcontractors, and materials.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Manage and lead a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, motivation, and support.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor progress, identify and resolve any issues or delays, and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, safety documentation, and personnel records.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to develop and update project schedules and budgets.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety among all team members.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and local authorities.

You must have relevant experience of working for a housebuilder or residential contractor in a similar capacity to be successful in your application.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £50,000 plus package and benefits.
