The Role:
As the Land Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and acquiring prime development sites across London. Your keen eye for emerging opportunities and strong negotiation skills will enable you to secure land deals that align with our client's strategic objectives and contribute to the expansion of their impressive property portfolio. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including development, legal, and finance, to ensure the seamless integration of acquired land into the development pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess potential development opportunities and sites in London.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective land acquisitions, including financial analysis, planning constraints, and market research.
- Lead negotiations with landowners, agents, and local authorities to secure favourable land deals.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure alignment with project objectives and budgets.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting land acquisition and development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as local authorities, consultants, and land agents.
- Develop and implement innovative land acquisition strategies to achieve the company's growth targets.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in land acquisition and development within the property sector, with a focus on London.
- In-depth knowledge of the London property market and an ability to identify lucrative opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a persuasive and confident approach.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to analyse complex data to make informed decisions.
- A degree in Real Estate, Land Management, Business, or a related field is desirable.
- A network of industry contacts and a thorough understanding of the local planning process will be advantageous.
