Job Title: Lettings Administrator

Location: Stockwell

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (including 2 Saturdays per month)

Role Overview: As a Lettings Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the lettings team and ensuring the smooth operation of the rental portfolio. Your exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail will be instrumental in managing the administrative processes associated with property rentals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation and management of tenancy agreements, renewal notices, and other legal documentation.
  • Conducting thorough tenant reference checks and maintaining accurate tenant records.
  • Assisting with property viewings, answering tenant inquiries, and coordinating appointments.
  • Liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors to arrange necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Handling tenant complaints and issues with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Managing rental arrears and coordinating necessary actions to ensure timely payment.
  • Assisting with the marketing of rental properties, including writing property descriptions and uploading them to relevant platforms.
  • Conducting regular inspections of rental properties to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
  • Providing administrative support to the lettings team as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the property management or lettings industry.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with property management software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to upholding high levels of integrity and professionalism.
  • Energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to property rentals is desirable.
