Are you a successful Project Director with experience in the super prime market, working specifically with HNW private clients?

deverellsmith have partnered with a well-known organisation who have built their reputation creating exquisite interior couture. When it comes to residential architecture and interior design, they create tailored environments that capture the spirit of their clients and delivery beautiful projects.

The Projects director will have the ability to lead confidently and pro-actively, support complex design projects, proficiently manage contractual matters based on strong construction knowledge. This will lead to projects completing on time and on budget, to a high standard.

Key Competencies:

Leadership

To drive, inspire, and mentor the Team to foster improvement and development. Empower and guide the PM team to develop their skills and align to the Studio values.

Team building

To lead the recruitment of the design team and the production & delivery of pitches, concept designs and execution.

Legals & Contract Administration

To manage the contract administration role on projects. Maintain up to date knowledge of the JCT contract suite, and other contractual processes and industry standards. To support in legal matters.

Communication

To lead UHNWI client relationships in a suitable tone and manner, with outstanding skills in presenting projects reports and matters. Effectively communicate the companies values and ethos internally and externally.

Project Delivery

Ensure projects run on schedule and achieve client and company objectives regarding scope, quality, timing, and budget - error free and to the highest standard.

Management

Manage and co-ordinate the project internally to ensure sufficient resources to complete the works on time and within agreed financial budgets. Sign off relevant documents and presentations.

Financial Accountability

Responsible for project profitability. Liaise with Finance team for timely receipt of funds /invoices and lead securing fee for additional work. Participate in setting strategic financial goals and budgeting for company.

Quality Control

Effectively delegate and review work produced by the Team, ensuring it is delivered in a timely and error free manner. Create processes for effective quality control and ensure these and the standards expected are understood by the team.

Problem Solving & Organization

To be able to plan pro-actively, identify risk factors and catch problems early and to have a solutions-based approach. Strong organisational skills applied to project programmes, multiple work streams and time frames set and achieved for design team and external parties.

Sales & External relationships

Lead the production & delivery of pitches with regards to programme, budget and fee. Secure repeat clients or new sales through pitches or network, using market intelligence to seek out opportunities. To be an advocate of the companies work and champion the brand through a wide range of contacts and events.

Protocols & Systems

Initiate and execute new and existing processes and systems. Mentor and guide the team to embrace company processes and ensure that relevant information is recorded accurately, and systems and protocols are followed.
