Are you an accountant in real estate and want to work with the UK's leading specialist in commercial property and asset management companies? Our client is expanding their Financial Accounting team and are looking for a Client Accountant to join their team.

What you'll do?
This role is responsible for all aspects of client and property accounting within a designated portfolio, working as part of a team to ensure the efficient and accurate accounting of client and tenant funds.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Billing of service charge, rents, voids, recharge, credits, insurance charges to tenants/occupiers or clients
  • Updating and maintaining property, lease & occupier's data on PMS
  • Preparation of completion statements, rent review & interest calculations
  • Deal with the smooth on-boarding and off-boarding of any new or outgoing instructions to relevant parties
  • Produce, reconcile, analyse and close year-end service charges in accordance with RICS guidelines
  • Produce, reconcile, and analyse monthly client and tenant deposit bank accounts
  • Preparation and submission of financial reporting, VAT reports, cashflows
  • Authorise and review supplier payments including preparation and submission of funding to requests to clients
  • Prepare, document, and manage client payments and tenant refunds
