Job Title: Property Manager
Location: London
Salary: £30,000 per annum
We are currently seeking an experienced Property Manager. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of properties, ensuring their smooth day-to-day operations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and tenants. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and proactive individual with at least 2 years of property management experience to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of properties, including residential and commercial properties, ensuring their efficient day-to-day operations.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess and address any maintenance or repair needs, and ensure properties are well-maintained and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs, including obtaining quotes, scheduling and supervising contractors, and ensuring timely completion of work.
- Respond promptly and professionally to tenant inquiries, requests, and complaints, and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Conduct tenant screenings and lease negotiations, and ensure lease agreements are properly executed and maintained.
- Manage rent collections and arrears, and initiate appropriate legal actions when necessary.
- Prepare and review property budgets, financial reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and other stakeholders, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of property marketing materials, including property listings, advertisements, and online postings.
- Provide support in ad-hoc tasks and projects, as assigned by the management team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, preferably within the real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, tenants, and contractors.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling property-related documentation, financial, and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- A professional and customer-centric approach to property management.
- Knowledge of London property market and regulations is desirable.
