Job description

If you have experience working within a high volume Purchase Ledegr/Accounts Payable role (ideally within a Property/Real Estate Firm) and are looking to work  an Industry leading Property Management Firm, then this could be the ideal role for you! They have recently invested in new systems to help your role be less data process driven and also to help the payment process to suppliers be easier!

Duties will include:

  • Management and response to internal and external queries in accordance with internal SLA - via email and telephone.
  • Responsible for monitoring and investigating all queries that come in to the Purchase Ledger email inbox
  • Reconciliation of of cheques via cheque management system and daily banking routine
  • Perform accurate statement reconciliations across multiple systems
  • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure any supplier issues are investigated and issues solved
  • Liaising with property managers, facilities managers, surveyors and client accountants as appropriate
  • Responsible for all queries relating to court summons
  • Will be required to support the PL Payments and processing team at busy periods and times of absence
  • Responsible for setting up new suppliers on property management systems
  • Liaising with property managers, facilities managers, surveyors and client accountants as appropriate

Skills/attributes and experience sought include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Experience working in a similar position within the property sector would be an advantage
  • Confident & professional when liaising with colleagues, customers and staff
  • Knowledge of the following systems an advantage; Qube, Tramps, Yardi or MRI
  • Strong excel skills (Vlookup / Pivot tables)
