Quantity Surveyor

A market leading high end residential main contractor has an unique opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team because of recent project growth. Our client focuses on the construction, refurbishment, and renovation of the capital's most luxurious homes.

In addition to their projects delivered in London, our client also has several single dwelling projects in the Home Counties being delivered on behalf of High-Net-Worth Individuals, Hedge Fund Managers, footballers, and entrepreneurs.

You will have the opportunity to work within a tight knit team made up of experienced and well-regarded professionals. Our client has a fantastic team culture with emphasis on team cohesion and internal activities.

The ideal candidate will have in depth experience delivering into the high-end residential market in the UK, with the ability to demonstrate a proactive approach towards cost management strategies whilst working closely with the other members of the team. You will also have the ability to operate several projects at any one time.

What You'll Do:

Assist with the competitive tendering of consultant's fee & analysis

Produce cost plans & construction estimates based on design information

Provide value engineering options & cost planning, as well as creating a tender pack to be sent to an agreed supply chain list

Negotiate contract documents and draft contracts for construction works

You'll present monthly valuations to the senior team as well as providing accurate financial reporting

What You'll Bring:

Proactive and can-do attitude

3+ years' experience

Previous contractor experience would be advantageous
