With a commitment to excellence and a passion for creating dream homes, they are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team and take the lead on a brand new traditional build development in Maidenhead
Role Highlights: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- Collaborate closely with project managers, the technical team, and contractors to ensure cost-effective planning and execution of residential developments.
- Utilise your expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management to drive project success.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, materials, and labour costs to provide accurate forecasts and reports.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing proactive solutions.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the housebuilding industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Excel, cost estimating software, and project management systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
