Job description
Our client are a luxury Property Management, Investment and Development company based in the heart of Chelsea, they are seeing a Rental Administrator to join them for a maternity contract for a minimum of 6 months.
Purpose of the Role:
As a Rental Administrator, you will support the senior rental administrators in managing all aspects of rental income across the portfolio. You will also assist other members of the accounts department, ensuring a professional and efficient finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Processing:
- Manage rent and other income transactions daily.
- Assist with direct debit collections for residential long leases and commercial rents.
Administration:
- Handle residential long leases and income portfolios.
- Perform lease input, disposals, and general account management.
- Invoice rent, service charges, and interest demands.
- Manage credit control, issue statements, and report on accounts.
- Process legal documents, including assignments, variations, alterations, and charges.
- Handle rent reviews.
Liaison and Support:
- Maintain relationships with managing agents.
- Provide holiday cover for commercial and residential portfolios as needed.
- Address internal and external queries promptly.
- Monitor and maintain the accounts rent inbox.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Relevant finance and property experience.
- Strong PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills.
Behavioural Skills:

- Numerate and analytical.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong team player.
- Effective communicator at all levels, both internally and externally.
