​This is a unique opportunity and an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Project Controller to relocate to one of the most beautiful cities in the world; Prague.

With over 6million m2 of leasable space and another 800K currently under construction in 6 countries, this highly successful company operates in one of the fastest growing sectors in real estate. Future growth will offer excellent opportunities for career progression.

Headquartered in Prague, you would be joining a high performing and highly qualified team within a multinational English-speaking office. You will work collaboratively to build, manage and deliver custom-built, high-tech business parks throughout the region with plans to expand into 2 further countries by next year.

The ideal candidate would be a construction minded professional from a commercial or finance background, who will be trusted to sanity check all projects, making sure developments are being completed at the right price, in the right way. You will play a pivotal role in creating strategies that save money on future developments whilst optimising the value of the current portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for opening, up-dating, monitoring and closing of construction budgets

  • Provide critical assessment of all construction budgets and returns

  • Produce and analyse finalised project calculations with comparison to original budget

  • Produce and analyse project earnings based upon Internal rate of Return Calculations

  • Keeping construction projects overview up-to-date in ERP

  • Keeping overview of ASTI (Above Standard Tenant Improvements) as part of the construction budget with respect to both costs and revenues

  • Reconciles construction overview with Work-in-Progress in accounting

  • Produce and keep up-to-date project planning overviews

  • Closely cooperate with regional development directors and project managers.

Desired profile

  • University degree in quantity surveying or finance

  • 4 years of experience in a similar position (experience within the Real Estate industry would be an asset)

  • Exceptionally well organised with an aptitude for data

  • Analytically minded and problem-solving skills and meticulous

  • Mature, proactive, resourceful and hands-on with good initiative

  • Good relationship and a strong verbal and written communication skill

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
