Senior Site Manager - Residential
(London, £60-75k + package)
Are you a Site Manager looking to make a step up? We are currently recruiting for a Senior Site Manager to work for a major UK housebuilder operating in London and the South-East of England.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company, with a salary range of £60,000 to £75,000 plus a competitive package.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing construction of new build projects - overseeing trades packages including demolition, substructure, foundations & groundworks through to structures, fit-out & MEP
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that they meet project requirements
- Monitor progress and report to senior management on project status
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Manage site resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment
- Plan and coordinate project schedules, including material deliveries and site works
- Attend and contribute to project meetings and briefings
- Manage site paperwork, including risk assessments, method statements, and other documentation
Candidate Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in construction or engineering (minimum HNC/HND) / candidates from a trades background will be considered who are holding a similar NVQ level
- SMSTS, 1st Aid & valid CSCS card
- Full UK driving license
