Position: Senior Site Manager
Location: South West London
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site activities and operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and identify and resolve any potential delays or issues.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and company standards.
- Liaise with the project management team, providing updates on project progress and any concerns or challenges.
- Monitor and control project costs, making sure expenses are in line with the budget.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within the house building industry.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction processes and building regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them on-site.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
