Role Overview: As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of the residential development, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will lead a skilled team of contractors and tradespeople, fostering a collaborative and safety-oriented work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols to guarantee a safe working environment for all site personnel.
- Collaborate with the project management team to create and maintain a construction schedule, reporting progress regularly.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities to facilitate smooth project execution and compliance with building regulations.
- Monitor and inspect the quality of workmanship, ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices.
- Identify and resolve any construction-related issues promptly and efficiently to prevent delays or disruptions.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project milestones and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the volume house-building sector.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating teams to achieve project goals.
- A track record of successfully delivering multiple projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing project demands.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in construction management or a related field are desirable.
