You'll be working with a leading name in the volume house-building industry, renowned for constructing high-quality homes across London and the South East. Role Overview: As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of the residential development, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will lead a skilled team of contractors and tradespeople, fostering a collaborative and safety-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols to guarantee a safe working environment for all site personnel.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to create and maintain a construction schedule, reporting progress regularly.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities to facilitate smooth project execution and compliance with building regulations.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of workmanship, ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices.
  • Identify and resolve any construction-related issues promptly and efficiently to prevent delays or disruptions.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project milestones and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the volume house-building sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating teams to achieve project goals.
  • A track record of successfully delivering multiple projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing project demands.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in construction management or a related field are desirable.
