Strategic Land & Project Manager

Do you want to work for an award-winning property developer? I have an exciting opportunity for a strategic land manager. The position offers flexible working, there is also an option to work out of the client’s office in Surrey / west Sussex or North of London depending on where you are based. The role is paying up to £90k + bonus + benefits etc.

The role

  • Specific strategic land matters that involve land acquisition and planning promotion work
  • Assist in identifying and assessing new strategic land opportunities suitable for acquisition under the Business plan
  • Budget management is project dependent
  • Provide assistance and support to Head of Strategic Land and Strategic land team
  • To act as the point of contact alongside other members of the Strategic Land team for strategic land and planning matters
  • Development projects at various stages of the planning process
  • Liaise with and obtain approval to all land acquisition offers at the appropriate level
  • Prepare details cash flow viabilities based on agreed parameters and update the appraisals at key dates (acquisition / planning / handover)

What you need

  • Membership of Professional Body – RICS / MRTPI
  • HND/Degree level/NVQ6 diploma in site management or equivalent
  • Experience in land acquisition and land transactions
  • Experience in promoting land though the development plan system to planning consent
  • The ability to source and delivery new business opportunity and move projects through the approval process
  • Experience in producing financial reporting and business plan management
  • Identification and management of opportunity and risk
