Our client is an established residential procurement consultancy; delivering distinctive services to clients within Build to Rent & Student Accommodation. They work with businesses Nationwide and having a growing presence.
The Technical Services Manager is a new role for the consultancy. You will work proactively and provide specialist support and guidance for key clients predominantly in the areas of procurement, facilities management and energy management.
In short, as a Technical Services Manager you will be responsible for technical asset surveys for clients, ensuring statutory compliance, auditing, reporting, and conducting energy efficiency audits.
This position has a heavy client-facing component, and consulting will be a fundamental aspect along with supporting the wider consulting team on technical matters.
Travel will be required, but is mostly a remote working position with access to an office in London as required and for meetings. This is a freelance opportunity (3-6 months) which could lead to a permanent offering if you want to work for a growing consultancy.
You will need to visit projects across the UK and be comfortable with the following packages: Architectural Plans, Mechanical Plans, Electrical Plans, Plumbing Plans, Fire Protection Plans.
You'll need to have a technical understanding of the above and ideally will be a strong communicator as you will be updating senior contacts within the client base. Primary functions include: liaising closely with clients and service providers, facilitating procurement processes for clients, either remotely or in client's office, and supporting the business.
