Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Hybrid - Central London (3 days in office)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + OTE £25,000 - £40,000
Our client, are a premium furnishing service provider for agents, investors, property developers, and other residential property providers across the UK, including build-to-rent developers, student accommodation, and care home providers. They have been at the forefront of this sector for the past 20 years, operating at the intersection of B2B & B2C, service & retail.
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Business Development Manager to drive business growth within the Residential Real Estate sector. This role is an exciting opportunity to develop new business opportunities and manage key relationships within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The role will work with a diverse range of clients, from large-scale property developers furnishing multiple units to one-off orders for property managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic approach to prospecting, building relationships, and closing sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the residential real estate sector.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
Sales Negotiation & Closing: Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
Strategy Development: Build and implement a business development strategy for your target sector/region.
Networking & Outreach: Engage with prospective clients via phone, email, social media, and in-person meetings.
Collaboration: Work closely with the residential team and liaise with customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
What We're Looking For:
Proven track record in business development and sales (2+ years' experience).
Strong selling & negotiation skills with commercial acumen.
Hunter mentality - a proactive approach to generating new business.
Strategic thinker who is focused, driven, and results-oriented.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to build relationships from scratch, including cold calling prospects.
Strong networking skills and a consultative sales approach.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Honours Degree or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
Previous experience in the property sector (preferred but not essential).
Full UK driving license.
