Sales Associate - Shared Ownership
Location: Whalley, Lancashire
Rate: Competitive hourly rate
Contract: Temporary (Approx. 2-3 months) with potential to go into a FTC!
We are working on behalf of a well-respected housing provider to recruit a Sales Associate for a Shared Ownership development in Whalley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced property professional to step into a key sales role on a temporary basis, supporting the team during a busy sales period.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise and guide prospective buyers through the Shared Ownership process
Manage and progress sales from enquiry to completion
Conduct viewings and qualify potential purchasers
Maintain and update the CRM and sales database
Welcome customers to the marketing suite and ensure it remains presentable
Handle incoming enquiries and follow up on leads
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (IFAs, solicitors, etc.)
Support stock unit maintenance and presentation
Essential Skills & Experience:
Knowledge and experience in Shared Ownership is essential
Proven track record in property sales, ideally within new homes
Strong negotiation and customer service skills
Confident using Microsoft Excel, Teams, and in-house CRM systems
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Detail-oriented and highly organised
Able to meet and exceed targets independently
Key Requirements:
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve confidently
Flexible with working hours, including weekends
Team player with a proactive approach
Access to own transport due to site location
