Sales Negotiator / Sales Associate

About the Role
A respected Birmingham-based property developer is building its in-house sales capability and seeking a driven, commercially minded Sales Negotiator to take full ownership of residential sales across their city centre developments.
This is a genuine opportunity to make your mark. You'll be managing the entire sales journey-from first enquiry to completion-working directly with first-time buyers, investors, and local purchasers to drive reservations and deliver results in a competitive market.

What You'll Be Doing
- Own the sales process end-to-end: manage viewings, negotiate offers, and progress sales through to exchange and completion
- Build and develop the buyer database, engaging with first-time buyers, investors, and the local market
- Coordinate with solicitors and agents to ensure smooth transactions and timely completions
- Support marketing activity including new launches, open house events, and coffee mornings
- Liaise with third-party agents (UK and overseas) where needed, ensuring collaboration and clear communication
- Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce and provide regular reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director
What We're Looking For
Experience:
- 2-4 years in property sales or new homes (estate agency background ideal)
- Proven track record of delivering results independently
- Strong understanding of sales progression, CRM systems, and client management
You are:
- Confident, assertive, and self-motivated-a natural "doer" who thrives without close supervision
- Smart, well-presented, and articulate-able to represent a premium developer brand
- Technically competent (comfortable with Salesforce, Excel, and digital tools)
- Resilient and proactive with the drive to succeed in a challenging market
- Hungry to progress-young, sharp, and switched-on rather than complacent
The Details
- Location: Birmingham city centre (office-based, with travel to sites as required)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00/5:30pm (closed weekends, but Saturday viewings/events required as needed)
- Start date: Ideally within 3-4 weeks
- Reports to: Sales & Marketing Director
- Team: Close collaboration with Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, and Sales Coordinator
