We're partnering with a prestigious, design-led contractor in South Birmingham, renowned for delivering bespoke luxury residential and commercial developments. As they continue to grow, they're now looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their experienced team.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll take full commercial responsibility across a range of high-end construction projects-from pre-construction through to final account. Your key duties will include:

• Tracking and managing project costs throughout the build

• Preparing and overseeing valuations, cost control, and payment processes

• Producing tender documentation, cost plans, BoQs, and schedules of work

• Leading cost reporting and forecasting across the project lifecycle

• Procuring subcontractors and managing their contracts and final accounts

• Collaborating closely with site and project managers to monitor progress and variations

• Ensuring contractual compliance and supporting dispute resolution when required

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a QS with a main contractor

• Strong commercial management of live projects

• Familiarity with JCT and bespoke forms of contract

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Experience in high-end residential or luxury commercial projects is desirable
