Trainee Maintenance Operative - Build to Rent (BTR)

Location: Colindale, North West London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: £28,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We're looking for a Trainee Maintenance Operative to join a growing Build to Rent (BTR) community in Colindale, supporting the smooth running of a modern residential development and ensuring residents receive exceptional service every day.

The Role

As a Trainee Maintenance Operative, you'll work alongside an experienced maintenance team, learning how to maintain and repair a high-quality residential building.
You'll gain hands-on experience in:

• Carrying out basic plumbing, electrical, and joinery repairs

• Supporting planned and reactive maintenance tasks across apartments and communal areas

• Reporting and logging maintenance issues using digital systems

• Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times

• Delivering an exceptional customer experience for residents

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Keen to learn new skills and develop within the maintenance field

• Passionate about delivering great customer service - you'll often be the face of the team when visiting residents' apartments, so a positive attitude is key

• Either looking to start a career in maintenance or already holds some basic maintenance or trade qualifications (e.g. plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or similar)
