My client is a unique and long-established property company with roots in the heart of London. Their estate includes a vibrant mix of restaurants and hotels, bars and clubs, shops and offices. They are looking for a bright accounts assistant to join their small and growing team in the West End of London.

The right candidate will be skilled in using Qube software. They will be sociable, hardworking and will have a bubbly, personable outlook.

The role of the Accounts Assistant will include:

  • Maintenance of Property Portfolio in Qube PM to ensure properties/unit/tenant information is up to date in line with weekly targets including scanning and filing leases/ASTs
  • Production of VAT receipts and alias letters as directed
  • Daily reconciliations and posting of bank transactions (6 accounts)
  • Reconciliation and posting of credit cards and petty cash
  • Assist with Credit Control
  • Reconciliation of commercial and residential deposits across the portfolio, including reconciling to bank, DPS, and balance sheet ledgers
  • Liaising with Estates Department through all stages of tenant occupancy e.g. New tenants, assignments, end of tenancy
  • Liaising with business partners/lawyers and aiding in completion of new tenancy agreements
  • Support Serviced Offices Team with Qube management and charging
  • Monthly reporting of KPIs; vacant units, zero rents, unavailable units
  • Adhoc monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as directed
  • Assist with Financial Year End Audit Prep work
  • Assist with Year End Audit
  • Scanning and filing
  • Assisting team with other tasks during busy periods

For this role I’m looking for somebody with the following skills and past experience

  • Experienced in Qube Property Management System
  • 1+ years in property company/similar role
  • Experienced in MS Office Suite
  • Experience reading and understanding leases/ASTs
  • Knowledge of Property VAT and recording transactions
  • Knowledge of VLOOKUPs/SUMIFS/Pivot tables in MS Excel

The salary for this role is up to £30,000 depending on experience with 50% off study support
