Our client is an innovative and boutique property developer based in the North West of England, who are renowned in Manchester for their quirky, stand-out product and dynamic company culture. We are actively looking for an immediately available, experienced After Care Manager with a proven background of delivering excellent customer service post completion and the technical ability to solve issues. You do not have to have people management experience however, you must be able to work closely within a team.

You must have a minimum of 3 years exposure with a house-builder or developer in this role to be considered. Our client is super busy therefore we would need this candidate be able to hit the ground running and will work alongside a small, tight-knit team based on site and be responsible for the customer service operation of 2 development after completion; ensuring that service levels and customer satisfaction are maintained from the point of customer’s completion.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract, working Monday to Friday in the Centre of Manchester. There is a likely chance this position could go permanent for the right person.

  • Attend properties to snag and handover plots.
  • Assume responsibility for resolving customers’ issues efficiently.
  • Implement the entire Customer Service journey from Completion throughout Warranty
  • Liaising with sub-contractors to ensure reported defects are dealt with in a cost effective, timely and professional manner
  • Managing internal and external relations to ensure that customers are satisfied
  • Working closely with sales colleagues, updating on customer issues both pre and post completion
  • Build strong networks internally and externally with customer relations, Estate Management and Technical to ensure transparency and ease of communication.
  • You must have a minimum three years’ experience working as a customer care or after-care coordinator for an established New Homes developer or Housing Association
  • You will have a sound knowledge of residential build processes, from the first hole in the ground right through to full build completion and beyond.
