An experienced clerk of works/quality inspector or good site manager who can turn their hand to a Clerk of Works role is required ASAP for a building consultancy who mainly work on the London landed estates property portfolios. These are often listed or historical buildings where there is a change of use or refurbishment taking place.
You must have a good understanding of how things are built and constructed, and ideally have some private sector experience. Quality control and health and safety are of the up-most importance.
Ideal candidates with will have 3 years+ Clerk of Work experience and be ICWCI qualified, or a good site manager who wants to move in this area of work may also be considered. You must be comfortable recording info on a hand held computer/Ipad and have reasonable IT skills.
Preferably an immediate start. This is a permanent role with excellent benefits. Part field based. You’ll only need to be in the office 2-3 days a week, and would consider a 4 day a week post.
This is for a lovely organisation who take good care of their staff and offer flexible working.
