A well established block management company based in Central London is recruiting for a Client Accountant to join their small team. They are looking for someone with a fantastic working ethic and the drive to learn and grow with the company. This is a fantastic opportunity with so much progression potential.

The role of the Client Accountant will include:

  • Payment to Clients
  • Client reporting on quarterly or monthly basis
  • Bacs & cheques receipts
  • Service charge reconciliations & dealing with external auditors
  • Dealing with Rent deposits
  • Be familiar with the RICS regulations
  • Ah hoc charges to tenants
  • Dealing with queries from Clients, Tenants & Suppliers
  • Creating & Maintaining of all records held on Qube
  • Weekly supplier payments runs
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • NRLS tax
  • HMRC UK Annual Rents
  • Quarterly & Monthly rent raising
  • Compiling & up loading budgets
  • Chasing of arrears
  • Calculating completion statements, rent review & interest
  • Any other ad hoc duties required to assist the running of the accounts department

For this role I’m looking for somebody with the following skills and past experience

  • Minimum of 2 years within block management accounts
  • Qube property software would be preferable but isn’t essential
  • Able to work within a small professional team
  • Year end accounts experience
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and cope with changing priorities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

The salary for this role is up to £30,000 depending on experience.
