If you have commercial client accounting experience and are interested in working for an established property consultancy with a strong long-standing client base, then this could be the right fit for you.

What will the role involve on a day-to-day basis?

The role of a client accountant will vary depending on the specific client requirements however will broadly focus around the following duties:

  • Create and present reporting pack to clients
  • Handle any funding requests to portfolio
  • Managing income rent raising for subtenants
  • Dealing with any landlord queries
  • Assist with purchase ledger duties
  • Ensuring compliance with RICS guidelines

What are they looking for in a candidate to be able to apply for this position?

In terms of prior experience, you must have client accounts experience as either a client accountant or at least two years’ experience as an assistant client accountant. Exposure to the commercial real estate sector is essential for this position.

You must be somebody with strong communication skills with a track record of providing great levels of customer service in your previous positions. It is key for this person to have commercial awareness and acumen as well to truly understand the needs of the clients you are working with.
