We have an exciting and challenging role, available for an experienced HR Advisor to work with a leading Global Business Intelligence organisation.

This is a contract position for 6 months and is available to start as soon as possible.

Role & responsibilities:

  • To develop effective professional relationships with managers in order to work closely to meet needs of the division, this includes being the key point of contact for Global Technology
  • To provide proactive HR advice and guidance to line managers and staff in areas including discipline, grievance, performance management, absence, performance reviews and remuneration.
  • To liaise with regional HR BP’s for non-UK advice and legislation
  • Advise and coordinate procedures and actions for maternity, paternity and flexible working applications
  • To proactively identify, develop and implement improvements to procedures to enhance efficiency
  • To produce and co-ordinate & deliver HR training material where appropriate
  • To effectively manage and take part in the Induction process for new employees

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Extensive HR generalist experience in a fast moving, dynamic environment
  • In-depth knowledge of local employment law and HR practices
  • Experience of coaching and advising Managers on complex ER issues
  • Strong user skills of HR systems including SAP HR and Microsoft office programs
  • Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred
  • Professional CIPD HR qualification
  • Experience in a HR environment with minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior advisory role
