Receptionist/Office Administrator

We have a great opportunity for a Receptionist/Office Administrator to join a tight-knit team, based in St Albans. The company is a dynamic, fast-paced developer and construction company focusing on residential and commercial new build development projects.

This person will be the face of the company and will act as the first point of contact. You will be based on Front of House and take complete ownership of the smooth running of the office.

You must be professional, well presented and confident in speaking to people at all levels.

Must have a license and car (as this position is based in St Albans).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front of House operations by being presentable, approachable and professional
  • Answering the telephone and checking voicemail
  • Welcoming visitors and arranging appointments/meetings
  • Diary Management (occasional)
  • Setting up and managing office-based work procedures
  • Attending meetings and keeping minutes for company records
  • Ensure meeting rooms are prepared for meetings when they occur
  • Maintaining and keeping on top of a ‘To Do List’ with Daily, Weekly and Monthly deadlines
  • Managing and distributing incoming post
  • Providing regular refreshments to staff
  • Photocopying and binding
  • Assisting fellow colleagues when required
  • Ensuring all filing (electronically and hard copies) are up to date
  • Ensuring the office is clean and presentable to any visitors.
