Lettings Renewals Administrator (Maternity Cover 12 months)

I am representing a professional services and investment management firm specialising in real estate. The successful candidate will be working within a small team to provide administrative support to a Residential Agency Renewals team based in SW3. You may also be required to work remotely across various London offices – providing a nice change of scenery and the opportunity to meet and work with different teams. This is a fantastic FTC and a valuable company to put on your CV.

Duties included but not limited to;

  • Drafting and issuing tenancy agreements to Landlords and Tenants via email and post. Documents include, memorandums of extension, general termination paperwork, addendum’s and legal notices (including section 21)
  • Coordinating tenant referencing via online agency Homelet and other methods where required
  • Coordinating AML and Right to Rent checks
  • Organising end of tenancy inventory checks and processing deposit returns for non-managed Landlords
  • Updating information and data stored on internal software systems and managing personal task reminder system
  • Maintain paperwork and procedures to a high standard in line with company practice.
  • Raising and issuing invoices, processing card payments and chasing outstanding agency fees from debtors list
  • Assisting the wider team as required with occasional office switchboard relief

Skills and Attributes;

  • Highly organised with self-efficient and effective time management skills
  • A detailed knowledge of Anti Money Laundering required
  • Excellent communicator and a high level of attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Right to Rent legislation essential
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Software
  • ARLA qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Minimum 3 years recent lettings administration experience preferable
  • A detailed knowledge of deposit registration/de-registration procedures
