Shared-Ownership Home Sales Consultant (Housing Association) – London (SE1)

A well-known London based, Housing Association are looking for an experienced Sales Consultant to join a busy scheme in central London on a temporary bases until Christmas.

The Responsibilities of a Shared Ownership Sales Consultant:

  • Regularly update sales progress reports
  • Calculate rent and service charges for shared ownership schemes
  • Requesting valuations and ensuring they are updated within their timescales
  • Identify and resolve problems on purchase, advising buyers and solicitors accordingly.
  • Regularly liaise with the Homebuy Agent regarding nominations, updates and ensure that regular returns are completed and where appropriate liaise with local authorities to ensure that the nomination procedure is effective.
  • Prepare completion of sale packs and arrange to meet buyers at their new homes to handover keys and introduce them to workings of the home and development.
  • Closely monitor the progress of sales terminating offers where appropriate and take action as necessary to ensure sales targets are achieved reducing the financial risk to the Group.
  • Work closely with mortgage advisers ensuring applicants are able to afford home ownership, are creditworthy and fully understand the concept of the low cost home ownership or any other initiative that they are undertaking.
