I am working with a fantastically modern Build to Rent company who is looking for a tenacious Tenancy Coordinator to report into their Leasing Manager from their offices in North London.

The main purpose of this role is to fully support the Leasing Team with all administrative and leasing duties, whilst assisting the team to meet their occupation targets, covering everything from new leases to renewals and departures.

Key Duties include but not limited to:

  • Progress or oversee every let agreed from reservation through to move in, ensuring all documents are accurate, compliant and meet company standards
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by communicating with the customer through each step of their journey, with documentation issued in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Progress the reference and deposit insurance process in conjunction with the leasing team as required;
  • Ensure leasing software is up to date, accurate and all tenancy deals progressed in a timely fashion
  • Liaise closely with the Leasing and Operations teams to ensure every arrival and departure is smooth and a positive experience for the customer
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure every lease is correct and ready for customer payment
  • Ensure all paperwork and filing systems – online and paper are compliant, up to date and accurate
  • Liaise with lawyers for any compliance queries and progress to plan of action
  • Assist finance and operations with any notices and evictions
  • Proactively find ways to drive efficiencies in the leasing process
  • Work with the residents’ team on any notices and evictions by supplying relevant information and working with the lawyers where appropriate

The idea candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a similar position or relevant field is desirable
  • Concise record keeping and time management
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Team player who thrives under the pressure
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • NFOPP Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Management or equivalent is also desirable.

The role is based in North West London and salary up to £30,000 for the right candidate – dependant on experience.
