Leasehold Jobs

When interviewing for block manager jobs, employers are more often than not seeking individuals with customer focus experience and a very good understanding of legislation and leasehold matters with a strong awareness of health and safety issues.

The soft skills required to excel in a block management career include excellent communication to ensure constant contact amongst multiple stakeholders and organisational skills to arrange collection of service charges and ground rent, and to plan and implement maintenance work. Depending on the employer, many block managers are also tasked with preparing and managing budgets and carrying out onsite inspections.
