Job Title: Lettings Manager

deverellsmith has been retained by our client to find a Head of Lettings for their independent business in Wandsworth. The company are close knit with a strong market share in Wandsworth. As a leading independent agency, they pride ourselves on their commitment to delivering exceptional service to their clients.
We are seeking a Lettings Manager on behalf of our SW London client to lead the lettings team and drive the success of the lettings department. As Lettings Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the lettings department, nurturing client relationships, and maximising revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the lettings team to achieve targets and deliver outstanding results.
- Oversee the marketing and promotion of available properties to attract quality tenants.
- Conduct market appraisals and property valuations to accurately assess rental values.
- Negotiate and finalise tenancy agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to landlords and tenants throughout the letting process.
- Manage property viewings, inspections, and inventory checks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the real estate industry, with a strong track record of achieving targets and delivering results.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Sound knowledge of lettings regulations, legislation, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
