Job description
We are recruiting for a MEP Site Manager to join a client, a high-end residential site in East London. You must have a high level of experience being solely responsible for the MEP packages and subcontractors on a fast-paced development.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resourcing of projects
- Manage the trades team and ensure everything is running smoothly
- Work with pre construction teams to ensure they have sufficient specialist M&E advice and information to enable them to submit successful tenders.
- Work with production teams to ensure they have sufficient specialist advice and information to enable them to design, specifications, regulations and standards.
- Work with site commissioning teams to ensure buildings meet the design criteria and client expectations.
- Respond to requests for assistance from regional teams. Work with customer care teams to enable M&E issues to be resolved in a timely manner.
- Maintain, update and enhance the company standard M&E specification and drawings.
- Promote and monitor the use of company preferred suppliers, to ensure performance and products meet our expectations.
- Review scopes of work for external M&E consultants to aid control of costs and exposure to risk. Monitor external M&E consultants to ensure adherence to the company specifications and expectations.
- Promote health, safety and environmental issues in line with company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key senior managers
- Liaising with clients, main contractors and/or suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and identify any risks to programme
- Procure, manage, coordinate and quality control all the relevant parties ensuring compliance with company Standards throughout the project
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, including status updates, cost analysis, and performance metrics, for presentation to management and clients Liaise with procurement, design and engineering teams
- Preparing and maintaining project, stage and exception plans as required
In return you will be joining a project with longevity and receive a salary of between £65,000 - £75,000 plus package.
